Dr. Vlasta Domin has been involved in the medical field since 1976 when she first began working as an operating-room assistant in Czechoslovakia. This hospital work sparked her life-long interest in the influence of the patient’s emotional, psychological, and mental states on the bodily functions, healing processes, and subsequent recovery.
The opportunity to further pursue her interest in the mind-body connection came after she relocated to the U.S. Initially, Dr. Domin became a clinical hypnotherapist certified by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners and opened her private practice in San Diego, CA.
Dr. Domin received further training in hypno-anesthesiology, biofeedback, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Among many other alternative techniques, Dr. Domin also employs guided imagery, guided visualization, selective awareness, therapeutic metaphors, and music to assist her clients in achieving their goals.
Dr. Domin is a former member of the American Board of Hypnotherapy and the National Board for Hypnotherapy and Hypnotic Anaesthesiology.
Presently, Dr. Domin practices in Surprise, AZ and provides clinical hypnosis and hypnotherapy services to the NW Phoenix Valley residents.
